Lively Lucy’s Presents Stolked for Folk

Wednesday, September 10th, 2014

Tomorrow at 8:00pm in Falstaff’s, Lively Lucy’s will be presenting the latest installment in its annual folk event Stolked for Folk. If you have yet to experience “Fallstaff’s” (if you don’t know what I mean by that, then you haven’t experienced it yet), then this should be a perfect introduction to this wonderful student-run performing space (that definitely doesn’t host poor excuses for raves that will make you want to cleanse yourself/your soul by fully submerging yourself in rubbing alcohol the very second you get home and sober up).

The night will feature original music from folk heavy-hitters Melissa Chilinksi ’15, Jesse Hardman ’15, Ethan Carpene ’17, Izzy Howard ’17, and Peter Oundjian ’15. Some of these are veterans of the Skidmore folk scene, and some of them (to my knowledge) are performing solo on a bill for the first time. The evening will be chill, the vibes will be good, and, most importantly, the music will be home-grown here at Skidmore.

If you’d like to keep up with more events like this, check out Lively Lucy’s page on Facebook. Looks like they’ve got lots of awesome shit in store for the semester.
