BLAST OFF! (via The Saratogain)
The Sartogain lets us know that on campus blasting work is already well underway for the construction of the College’s new student housing complexes. The $42 million dollar project was approved by the Saratoga Springs City Planning Board at the December 8th meeting and is expected to be fully complete by ‘late 2013.’
The College has made its intentions clear. Rising enrollment (fuk da freshman lol) and the press of overcrowding has pushed students off campus and dropped our previously envious residential-students numbers down to around 80-85%. The College has long touted the importance of a strong and central residential campus community in its literature and with the construction of the new housing complexes the College hopes to raise our residential student numbers ‘upwards of 90%.”
