As part of the Tang’s ongoing Lives of the Hudson exhibition the museum presents “Investigating the Hudson,” a rare opportunity to view selected films by experimental filmmaker Peter Hutton. Things got a little messed up after a screening on Nov. 10th got canceled but it looks like the screenings will take place over 2 nights, Nov. 17 and 19. Hutton will take part in a question-and-answer session following the Nov. 19 showing.

Hutton, a former merchant seaman, has made several experimental films about the river and the cities that line its shores and is currently a professor at, and director of, the Film and Electronic Arts Program at Bard College.
