I’m not sure who Andrew Moll is, or what 411mania.com is for that matter, but it seems he knows who we are. Andrew has named SEC’s September concert with DaGirlTalkz and Prefuse 73 his “favorite concert of the year” over on 411mania’s Best of 2008 list. Andrew reminds us that on that night people came together “in a college gym [to] enjoy themselves at a rave/dance party/sex romp with the best soundtrack imaginable.”

After a recent performance by musical mash-up artist Gregg Gillis, more commonly known by his stage name “Girl Talk”, one student reported that the concert was an overall pleasurable experience.
“Yeah, I had a decent time,” said sophomore Andrew Rosen. “I thought the music was pretty cool, and I had fun dancing.”
“I like the whole mash-up thing,” Rosen elaborated. “I hadn’t really heard of it before, but I think it’s a good idea. I might even go to my local record store and buy a few of his CDs.”
Rosen admits to attending the show in a slightly altered state, albeit very slightly.
“I had a couple beers with some friends before the show,” Rosen said. “I was going to have more, maybe like three or four, but I drank the second beer a little too quickly and became somewhat queasy.” Click to continue »
Following Girl Talk’s (Gregg Gillis) performance on Friday night, the artist was spotted assisting keg stands at the East Ave residence.
Tonight, SEC will host its bi-yearly blowout bash, building the basketball court into a bangin’ ballroom.
Rotgut refreshments will realize risky ramifications in the rusty reminiscences of the evening.
(You know what I mean?)

1) Avoid putting vodka in a water bottle. This will prevent drama from developing later in the evening.
2) Don’t steal anything without permission. You may be drunk, but the police probably won’t be.
3) Don’t be a loner. Cover your boner.
4) When it rains, it pours. It’s going to be slippery out there tonight. One wrong move, and you may fall on your ass.
