HEY LADIES!!!
Nothing staves off the blast of December air, the growing weight of finals and the lasting sting of insults received over Thanksgiving dinner (just me?) like getting dressed up and drunk. Luckily the Junior Class is hosting Junior Ring—a Skidmore tradition based on exactly those two activities—this Saturday night at 10pm. Please refer to Junior Ring’s entry in our surprisingly clairvoyant Freshman Orientation Guide for more information.
The weekend will be full of free events, all loosely themed to resemble Disney movies, but tickets to the semi-formal itself are going to cost you five bones if you buy them in Case Center this week and ten if you cop them at the door. I learned in my single semester of Microeconomics that the best thing to do in this situation would be to buy tickets before hand, because of an economic theory called common sense.
If you’re of age and wishing to imbibe I urge you to go to the Card Office and pick yourself up a Campus Event Card. Drinks will be served in the traditional Junior Ring Beer Zone For Older People and to join our secret club you need to show your Campus Event card along with a state issued ID.
