Piles of that shit
Everybody loves free D-Hall and this Thursday looks like it’s going to be a real winner. First off, there’s Clambake Night, which is extravagant and comped for all students. If you close your eyes, you can pretend that you’ve been invited out to Hyannis for the weekend with the Kennedys (try not to mention Chappaquiddick to Ted Jr.)
Also, Brooklyn-based YouTube chefs/band-thing, the Brothers Green, will be doing a cooking demo on the DIY grills at D-Hall. According to their PR lady, Mike and Josh Greenfield:
“Have blended their differing styles and palates to form a unique attitude towards cooking. Where Mike takes a classically controlled approach, Josh adds in his free-form flair. Often Josh’s band will be playing in the background as the brothers put their finishing touches on their dishes. In 2010, they began throwing underground dinner parties in their Brooklyn loft, which quickly gained notice among local and industry notables. They have competed in a burger showdown on Rachael Ray and cooked with a number of Brooklyn’s top chefs.”
Overlooking the fact that the people in their videos are absolutely insufferable and their “underground dinner parties” probably follow the Eyes Wide Shut model, the food looks pretty goddamn delicious. Free samples are included.
