SEC Student Forums

Friday, December 11th, 2009

With President Patrick shipping off for a stint overseas Julia Brenner—the current vice president—will be taking the reins of SEC for the rapidly approaching spring semester. Her first official order of business was the creation of this discussion forum where students can offer up some of their opinions.

All you kids grumbling about the choice of bands and frequency of shows don’t even have to get up off your asses to share your opinions anymore. Have at it boys!

Although they’re sparsely populated, these Skidmore-run forums seem like the perfect answer to requests for an accountable place to sell things and find ride information. If you prefer anonymous dating advice, endearing missed connections, and poor spelling, stick with us.

Scribner On Death Row

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

In conjunction with the recent survey sent to students regarding what they would like to see in a new dorm complex, Residential Affairs has put together a forum to get some more direct feedback. Be sure to show up and let the planning committee know how badly you want those thick walls so you can turn your music to eleven, and so you don’t have to hear your suitemate’s girlfriend getting plowed against the wall. Maybe even mention some of the environmental implications or the 20 years of tree growth in Scribner that will all have been for nothing. The forum will meet at the following times:

Thursday (11/13): 12-2pm @ the Spa
Tuesday (11/18): 8-9pm @ Ladd 307
Wednesday (11/19): 9-10pm @ Kimball 1st floor lounge
