Comedy Workshop – OPEN TO ALL!

Written by ThivNav on December 1st, 2011

I know many of you readers are connoisseurs of fine comedy–I’m almost certain it is our biting wit and general hilarity that keeps bringing you back to our website, although I heard a rumor recently that being informed about campus events might also play a role. Perhaps some of you readers are budding comedians yourselves! If you find yourself hilarious but feel you have no real outlet to share your comedic genius, Scott Galante (president of Skidomedy, member of Ad-Libs, co-producer of the National College Comedy Festival, and all-around great guy) is doing you a service and organizing a comedy workshop / open forum this weekend.

The goal is simply create a space where people can learn, share, and talk about comedy. He hopes to have this workshop be the first in a series, resulting in a final show in the springtime in collaboration with SkidTV. So if you’ve wanted to practice comedy, get tips and advice, or simply bask in the presence of other hilarious people and spend hours talking about how great you all are, attend the workshop! It will be a pressure-free zone, where nice people will laugh at your jokes but also help you make better ones. Nothing to lose!

The workshop is this Saturday December 3rd from 5-7 in Ladd 206.

Everyone's face to anything you say after you attend this workshop.
