Triple Play is all about fathers and sons – Chris Brubeck is the son of jazz legend Dave Brubeck, and Skidmore’s own Joel Brown will be joined by his father, Frank Brown. All told, that means 4 amazing musicians playing jazz in Zankel.

This concert is actually is to support the SaratogaArtsFest, so they’re – gasp – charging for tickets. However, they’re also looking out for college kids. Here’s the deal:

General admission to the concert is $25, or $15 for those with a SartatogaArtsFest 2011 ARSTPASS or ARTSPASS wallet card. There will be a “student rush” beginning at 6:45 p.m. on the day of the event, during which anyone with a student I.D. can purchase a ticket for $5.

That is pretty swell of them.
