On Campus: Dr. Boyce Watkins, 7pm

Black History Month keynote speaker Dr. Boyce Watkins will be in Gannett Auditorium tomorrow at 7pm thanks to Ujima, SGA Speaker’s Bureau and OSDP. Watkins, will speak about his controversial book, “What if George Bush Were a Black Man” and the double standards of race in America today.

Specializing in financial psychology, educational motivation, and black social commentary, Dr. Watkins, known as “the people’s scholar” for his colloquial and forward style, is considered one of the most sought after Black public scholars in the world and has had his work featured across a slew of media outlets.  Some more information about Dr. Watkins is available on the Skidmore homepage.
