Los Elk Release “Habits” Cover

Written by Executive Editor on January 22nd, 2015

New year, new picture. Thank the good lord.

Your favorite Skidmore band Los Elk have recorded an acoustic cover of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High),” which can be viewed below. It’s a pretty tight arrangement, as it features guitarist Noah Ross playing a ukulele in a way that doesn’t make you want to eschew YouTube for the remainder of your earthly existence. And that, my friends, is a major feat. It also showcases some excellent editing and cinematography from by Zack Antell and Prash Samputhkamaran, respectively. It’s also short, so give it a view.

The band will also be playing a show tonight at Arlene’s Grocery in NYC with The Rooks, so if you leave now, you should be able to make it in time, throw up your antlers (do they still do that?), and support our superstars.
