Buried in the depths of Brooklyn Phila St. rests Caffe Lena, the “Best Small Venue in North America” according to the International Folk Alliance. Located next to Hattie’s (whose chicken is da bomb!), this venue caters to Skidmores’ musicians, as it often supports acts from small Jazz ensembles and more. This Wednesday, Lena’s EMERGING ARTIST BREAKOUT#$!@% will feature Skidmore student Luke Santy accompanied by Julia Ilowieck, who according to Facebook, did/does not go to Skidmark.
