Joining the Rat Race. Ready…Set…Go!

Written by Editor-In-Chief on December 1st, 2008

Life in the real world sounds scary: no unlimited meal plans or free cab rides. Come May some of Skidmore’s finest will be in the rat race beginning careers they’ll have for the rest of their lives. But no big deal, Skidmore cares. Take this January to ditch your friends at home and do something really fun: “Road Trips to the Real World” hosted by the Eastern Association for Colleges and Employers (EACE). The road trip is free and will run from Jan. 5-13. It’s supposed to stop at 22 locations suited for many majors: PR and Advertising, Museums and Non-Profits, Broadcast Media, Government & Law Enforcement, Retail – Fashion, Finance “and many more.” So, before you bookmark monster.com, check out the road trip. Registration begins on Dec 2 and supposedly spots fill quickly.
