So, this little project of ours seems to have taken off and we’re pretty proud of our little baby. However, we know there are a few things that could be better/need fixing. We figure with finals week coming up you Guys and Gals will be making your way over here a bit more, and we’re looking for some help in making the site better. If you have any ideas for improvement we would love to hear them in the comments. This is kind of like democracy so you guys should get all excited about it and “exercise your rights” and stuff.

I was thinking maybe a Skidmore ebay kind of thing, maybe selling books, music, random stuff, etc. to other students at Skidmore through the ACB?
Kind of a stretch and a weird thought, possibly illegal, but still just a thought..
Party announcements
The ACB is a great place to list things you have for sale. However, the anonymity creates some problems of accountability. I would say the best way to avoid being scammed is to list your items for sale and then continue then transaction through the much more accountable facebook, or more preferably in person.
i know wesleyan has a student run online classifieds thingy (https://classifieds.wesleyan.edu/) that would be a great project for either skidnews or SGA. Since we aren’t really related with the school we don’t have the funding to host and moderate a website like that.
